The National Disability Council of Romania was established in 2004 at the request of the European Commission, as a requirement for Romania's accession to the European Union. The National Council of Disability in Romania (CNDR) is a federation-type organization, without patrimonial, non-governmental, humanitarian, apolitical, non-profit purpose, formed by nationally representative organizations for the protection and promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities.

CONAF (National Confederation for Female Entrepreneurship) is the only employers' confederation in Romania whose main objective is to support and promote female entrepreneurship. Since 2007, the year when Romania became a full member of the EU, we have committed ourselves to assuming European directions and policies. Women's entrepreneurship is a priority policy in the EU's vision because it directly contributes to reducing social pressure but not only, and CONAF has taken on this goal.
